Add any restriction (created >= -30d, a project…) — a bare ORDER BY is unbounded. Jira platform rule.

A listener didn't fire

Check it's Enabled, the kind matches the event, and its scoping filters match the work item.

A hooked()/function search returns nothing at first

The very first evaluation may store the cache empty — search again a moment later; refresh keeps it warm from then on.

Long bulk script times out

Console has ~25s; use a bulk job (600s per page, background).

ERROR with a stack trace

The line numbers point at your script; fix, save (new version), or roll back.
